skulduggery pleasant playing with fire

this is a great book for any fantasy lover it is all about decision making and being dragged in to the story litteraly you are in the story. It contains both real life situations and situations you would probably see in a cartoon like the simpsons. The reason i like this book is that it is you can read for hours and not know it

the ghost and the goggle box

The book i am reading at the moment is called ""the ghost and the goggle box".It is about a boy named Rogger. He is a young boy, and his great uncel Arnald has died and his ghost/spirt fell into the tv and cant get out.only he can see uncel arnold because he is useing his cruches. I thin this is a verry good book and i would recommend anyone to read it. when i first started reading the book i thought it was boring but when i got far into the book i thought it was getting verry good. another good thing about the book is that it is ckind of short but it did take me along time to read.So i think you should read this book. this book "the ghost and the goggle box" is a realy really good book!!!

Colourful hat reflection

**WARNING! Don't read this if you want to finish the twilight saga. Heed this Warning**

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

Red Hat

I have mixed feelings from this book. It was enjoyable, but some scenes were too gruesome for my liking. I was horrified when Edward decapitated Victoria, and was mortified when Jane (part of the Volturi [the vampire police] guard) killed Bree (a newborn vampire[the deadliest of vampires]) but in the end, it was beautiful because Edward proposed to Bella.

White Hat

Facts about this book are
- Bella and Edward graduate
- Bella finds out she is being hunted by
- Victoria finds a new mate, Riley, and they die and
- Edward proposes!
These are basic facts, if you want more, read Eclipse

Green Hat

New Ideas for this book are:

-that Jacob should be nice to Bella, not sarcastic
-that he should feel happy for her
-make Emmett kill Bree, and
-not have Jacob run away from La Push

Other Books by Stephenie Meyer are:

Twilight
New Moon
Breaking Dawn

Yellow Hat Reflection

Adults Only by Morris Gleitzman

Adults only is a wonderful story about a boy called Jake, who's the only kid on an island that has an adults only hotel. Gleitzman has written a beautiful novel which shows the relationship that Jake has with his teddy, Crusher. My favourite part is when Jake finds out that the hotel was a boarding school and children got whipped and some even died. Another is when he finds the ghosts, Mabel and Gwen, who went there. In this story, Jake shows that no matter where you live or what you do, you can be yourself and don't have to hide away. Reccomended for young and old, I give this book a 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

ONION TEARS

Title: Onion Tears
Author: Diana Kidd

This book was interesting to hear about. because nam- huong whishes she could go see her parents but she cant. she lives with her aunty and her brother and sister. She also writes meaningful letters to yellow canary and other animals about what she does and how she does it.
I would give this book a 3/5

The Bad Beggining

If I was writing a review about Danny the champion of the world, I would write that it was the best book I had ever ever EVER EVER EVER read in my whole life!

but sadly, I am not. I am writing a report about the bad beggining, so I will try and make it as un- miserable as I can.

The Bad Beggining was written by "Lemony Snicket"

It was a good book because it had good characters.

The characters were often feeling sad, lonely and bad, apart from when they are in a library, when they are happy.

It has a lot of good words in it and has many times when you are on the edge of your seat.

it is very sad, but addictive

Signing off,
Alex

The book "Sadako and the thousand paper cranes" is based on a true story.

A girl called Sadako, who gets a disease called Leukemia. She fights for life, but in the end she loses.

The book "Dont pat the wombat!" is a true story by Elizabeth Honey.

The characters are all very interesting with their own unique personality and the settings and storyline were very discitive.

You also see the true miss weasly when her daughters life is threatend.
We also see the return of 1 of our most favourite pople but who.

Sticky Beak by Morris Gleitzman

I read sticky beak for the premiers reading challenge. I thought about it and it was a really good book.

Morris Gleitzman is really good at using things that happen in every day life, and turning them into a catastrophic book.

I love the way the bird, sticky, went on and off, sometimes he was quiet, sometimes he was naughty.

I really like the way Darren Peck, the tough guy, always kept crying but I especially loved the way the jelly custard suprise always ends up all over everybody.

I rate this book 91/2 out of 10. I recommend this book for those who want to know someone who has the same prblems as them. A book for all ages.

Thanks for reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Selby Splits

Selby Splits is a great book for years 5, 6 and 7. It is a collection of short stories about the only talking dog in Australia and maybe even the world!
His name is Selby and he lives with his owners Dr and Mrs Trifle in Bogusville. Selby learned how to talk after watching a TV show with his owners. He can also read and write too.
He goes on all kinds of zany adventures from being a police dog in New York to having his reflection come out the mirror.
Selby Splits is a funny, crazy and excellent book that I think you wil like.

Thanks for reading my post,
William

the red back leftovers by debra oswald

i read the red back leftovers by Debra Oswald, it was good because the characters are friendly, creative and seem like fun to be around. most of all i liked Nicky because she had a good sense of humor and she seemed very nice.

i also liked it because the author changed it from what you think is going to happen to something completely different.
she also put some very strange characters in the book which made it very interesting to read.

i thought that the book would be very boring because i don't really like soccer and i thought that it would take me forever to read, but i just couldnt put it down! it was a very interestind and exciting book.

thanks for reading.

Brocky's Bananagram

This blog is about some good points of the Premiers Reading Challenge book Brocky's Bananagram written by David Metzenthen.

I really enjoyed this book because of the way they went into alot of detail about Matt Brock's Mother's illness. Other things like Laney Yong and her family. The author describes what Laney and her family look like, what pets they have, their interests and many more things. Also about Andy Adam's father and his terrible history with the law.

I also like how the author doesn't give away too much of what happens in the first chapter of the book like alot of books do :(
The book is completely unpredictable. You never know that is going to happen next.

Thanks for reading this.

PS. I hope I didn't spoil the book if you are reading it.

my sisters a full stop!

my sister a full stop
my favourite charcter is eppie
i really like eppie because we have so much in common like going on adventures and being adventureist.
i liked how the writing kept on changing like it was really huge and then it would change to really tiny.
it was really exciting because it kept on giving susspense.
i think it was really head a dirrection for kids.
there was a show called Big Brother and i really liked the show and the host named grettle killen. when i finished the book i saw pictures of grettle and it said author i was shocked and then i saw the main characters eppie and zeke it said that they are grettles kids omg it was intresting to see an author that was once your favourite tv show.
it was a great book because it was mixed book full with fairy tales and it leaves with susspence at the end of the book.
this is a really good book for people that hate reading because i am one of those people that hate to read books and dont concentrate but i really injoyed this book alought and didnt want to give back to the libary
by zali kakko in scp yr6.
The book I am reviewing is the Artemis Fowl The Arctic Incident. This book was written by Eoin Colfer. The characters in this book are really interesting. There are multiple characters in this book but I believe the main ones are: Artemis Fowl, Captain Short and Butler. Artemis Fowl, the thing i like about this guy is he is so smart and cunning. He thinks up of great, Complicated plans in seconds. Captain (Holly) Short is quick paced, Smart thinking, sometimes reckless fairy. She loves flying slammers and was number one in her learning class. The book is about The adventures of Artemis, how he saves his dad and how he helps the LEP.
It is an inventive, smart mix of modernity, crime, myths and legends. TIME
Cheers for reading my review,
Chris

The Dog Who Loved A Queen

Book Name: The Dog Who Loved A Queen
Author: Jackie French

When I read the title of the book I was thinking it would be funny. Well its is funny. There are many good points about this book, but I am going to only going to mention a few. When i started reading the book it mention there cute puppies. Their names are Lally, Bo and the narrator. I like how the narrator dog described Bo and Lally. Some of the descriptive words were strong, adventoures and fat. I also like how the narrator dog explained the story from his point of view. It is great how a story is from a dogs point of view because, normally a book is told from a person or in the past. I am still reading this book, but I cant wait to find out about more adventoures with the and and the queen.

The naming of the tishkin silk

The naming of the tishkin silk
by: Glenda millard

I think that the naming of the tishkin silk was a good book, it had a good name and was very interesting. I would definitely read it again, I would read any other book by Glenda Millard, and I think by the way the story sounds she has a very creative imagination. They also had very creative names in the story e.g ( Layla, Griffin, Scarlett) I would recomend this story to anyone who loves story's about family, friends and all of the above. Griffin has a secret that no one knows but Layla is Griffins only friend and tells her everything. To hear more about this fantastic book: Find it, Read it, Enjoy it.

The really really epic mini-bike ride.

Title: The really really epic mini-bike ride.

I like this book because it builds up to the day when they have a mini-bike ride.

David Metzenthen has a very interesting imagination.

He didnt put a lot of emotion in this book. That is why i liked it.

Its cute because a girl came to see Pod and Shiny and they go on a date.

This book is exciting, interesting and enjoyable

i would recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of romance and humor

By Georgina Webster.
This blog is on stormbreaker the graphic novel.
the good points about this story are:

there is alot of action throgh out the whole story.
alex is always getting close to being killed.
there are great problems and events.
he drops a drug dealer tugboat/home from the top of a crane.
it is very interesting with the pictures showing whats happening so you dont get confused.
it has great equipment and data on everything.
this book is very good for stormbreaker fans it also has point blanc in the graphic novel series.

Scorpia
Anthony Horowitz

Alex's personality really surprises me by what he does in every situation that faces him in the book.
I also like how he thinks quick in a sticky situation like where he he gets asked to join Scorpia which is an evil organization.
Anthony Horwitz has a very creative mind because he thinks of different more effective words for every sentence you read. He also makes you want to read more and more because it's so exciting to read about. A bit more about effective words at the front of the book he writes, Once stung, twice as deadly Alex Rider wants revenge.

hating alison ashley ♥ Joanna SCT

Book: Hating Alison Ashley

♥A very good book. It keepet me reading on for ages. Long novels are a good challange for short book readers' thats why i like it. I loved how the main characters in the book hated each other, were complete opposites of each other but in the end, became friends. I liked how it had a bit of comedy in it that made me laugh once in a while, i like that in books. I reckon this book is pointede more at teenages than at adults. It reflects on a teenage life, and all the goods and bads we go though, how we feel pressured to be like others. Anyway forget about all that stuff i really enjoyed this book and i hope others will too!

Book Review

Hi,

I've just read Alex Rider, The Gadgets, and it is AWESOME!! It's all about the gadgets that he uses in the movies and books, including, the magnetic yo yo and the bike with a rocket and other stuff in the books. It is good for those Wannabe moviemakers and designers of high-tech equipment.I would reccomend it to kids aged 8 - 13.
